When you give,
Give thanks;
For what was given,
Was given to give.
For all the blessings around
And what we seek to take;
When you give,
Give thanks.
Life is always about giving rather than taking. From the very foundation of the world God made man and gave Him a garden to tend to. He then gave him animals. Then God saw that all that was good. However, in the midst of that, He realizes that the man was alone and so He gave him a woman.
Later we learnt again that God gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins. Falsely accused, striped and shamed, beaten and torn, he bore our pain. Then lifted on a cross with nails in His hands, He gave his life so we could live.

Jamaicans were celebrating in the streets on Saturday and they had reason to. Their star sprinter, Usain Bolt had done what no other Jamaican had done before. He got the Olympic gold medal in the men's 100-metres final in Beijing, China in world record time.
Back in May Bolt shocked the world of track and field when he clocked the second fastest time in history in the 100m event at the Jamaica International Invitational. His time of 9.76 was just 0.02 seconds slower than the fastest time of 9.74, which his compatriot Asafa Powell posted in Italy last year.
But on Saturday, August 16, 2008, Bolt crossed the finish line in a new Olympic and world record of 6.69 seconds.
The fact that the 200m is really Bolt's pet event and he holds records in that area, including the Jamaica national record, made his feat even more amazing.
Standing at six foot five inches and weighing 190 pounds, Bolt, 21, won one gold for the 200-metres and two silver medals for the relays at the 2002 World Junior Championships, Jamaica, when he was 15. He won another gold medal at the World Youth Championships, running the 200-metres in 20.40 seconds.

BAD NEWS travels fast. It's all overseas - how two students of a Corporate Area high school, still clad in their uniforms, making it easy to identify the institution they attend, were photographed in FLAGRANTE DELICTO, or to put it out there for all to understand - engaged in sexual activity on the steps of a building on their school compound. A fellow student, it is said, captured their performance with the aid of a cellphone camera.
This homespun porn production was then placed on the Internet where many a reputation has gone to die. Not long after that, the film was downloaded and began circulating not only in JA, but areas of the US which Fi Wi People inhabit, bringing further distress to our relatives who are now fully convinced that the devil himself has taken over here.
People deal with shock in different ways. One gentleman from Up So told me, on air, that he was so appalled that he made several copies of the film and sent it to friends who were also horrified. The irony of what he did quite escaped him. His sense of outrage is quite understandable. What is not so easy to understand is why he thought that giving it further circulation was the way to deal with the problem.

I'll Never Know
by O. Stephen Peart
Pains untold, pains I'll never know,
As nature take its course
To bring forth such a beautiful force.
I'll never know or understand its claim,
Even the Joy after the pain,
Pains untold, pains I'll never know,
And then the name.
Intense the crescendo pain,
While helpless I stand and lame,
For little do we remember;
Of the burden from an unbearable tender.
Pains untold, pains I'll never know
Are finally gone and now the joy.
Amazing it is to experience the transition of life from the core of the womb to the open space of the earth. Greater yet to see the form of a life that was decided, designed and developed, passing through the passage of life and to welcoming arms. This might not be true of all life, but one thing is sure that all life from before that moment yearns for that welcome invitation into the world.

My Deliverance:
So, as the prayers of the saints all over the world went up to the Lord as a memorial on my behalf; the strong support of my grandmother Sarah Harper, my mother, Norah Harper (Pam), my sister, Alicia South, my big cousin, Myrna McNamee and the entire family, my close friends all ferried me through this desert phase.

God in His time answered and extended His hand to crush the hand of the enemy and silence the edict pronounced against my existence. The powerful name of Jesus broke the spirit of witchcraft and the curse of death that was over my life!
And one faithful Friday night…my mom brought me straight from the hospital to church; The Temple of Restoration, 515 Dean Street Brooklyn New York. There, God was pleased to use the committed, anointed and humble Pastors and servants. He heeded the beckon of His name as they called upon Him, on my behalf; to usher in the complete manifestation of my healing deliverance. And through a series of fervent deliverance prayers; resolute faith, sheer determination and perseverance; and in what seemed to be gazillion manifestation sessions…the savage demons, which were assigned to kill me; all admitted defeat to the powerful name of Jesus!
Jesus broke the curse of death and witchcraft from over my life! And today, this assignment is utterly destroyed!
My organs had no choice but to listen to the voice of their creator. Gods' voice commanded the normality of functions. My bones became strengthened, my blood became purified, my skin and digestive system and organs surrendered in agreement to the work on the cross. BY HIS STRIPES I AM ETERNALLY HEALED!
