The Stanford Financial Group of companies is expanding significantly its presence in the Caribbean with the building of a global management campus in St. Croix.
Stanford plans to break ground next month on construction of the new state-of-the-art complex which will include 105, 000 square feet of office space and conference facilities. An official groundbreaking ceremony is planned for later in February.
The Stanford Financial Group global management office will be located on a 37-acre site at the southwest corner of the Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport. Stanford has been working closely with the Virgin Islands Port Authority to secure the location and negotiate the particulars of the long-term investment in St. Croix.
The new facility will serve as the base for the support functions of Stanford's global network of financial services companies.
